Description
The tour will begin in the northern part of the island, where we will pass and stop in some beautiful viewpoints until we reach Gorrena Tea Factory, where you can taste our delicious local tea. We will then go to Ribeira dos Caldeirões, a place that has a mesmerizing waterfall. We will also pass through several floral small parishes along the way and stop in one of Nordeste’s beautiful viewpoints. Lunch will be served in Povoação village, which was the first place to be populated in São Miguel island. You will also have the chance to know Furnas and the calderas area, which is a big part of our volcanic activity and you will also see the beautiful Furnas lagoon. We will return through the south coast of the island and stop in more points of interest before the drop-off.
