Follow along online and with the surfboard markers located along the route. - Visit the Kapahulu Groin, more commonly referred to as the Wall and watch bodyboarders and surfers. You will also learn different names for the surf breaks in the area. - One of the most famous beaches in the world is named after Prince Kuhio, although it is commonly referred to as Waikiki Beach. Guests can cool of with a swim, soak up some sun, add a surf lesson or canoe ride, and much more. - Read about the ʻLast Prince of Hawaiiʻ on the surfboard marker from the Waikiki Historic Trail located right next to the statue of Prince Kuhio along the beach. - Visit the statue in honor of ʻthe Ambassador of Aloha,ʻ Duke Kahanamoku. Learn more about his great accomplishments and wave to your friends back home on the live web cam across the street. - Visit the ʻHealer Stonesʻ or ʻWizard Stonesʻ from the story Kapaemahu in Waikiki. Associated with a legend of Kahuna, or priests located near the beach. - Visit the historic hotel, banyan tree, and beach bar along the route. Guests can also see the free historic museum located along the second floor or grab a drink on the veranda. - Guests will see the Outrigger Resort, where the Duke's Restaurant, Faith Surf School, and Aloha Beach Services are located. You can stop for a drink or a surf lesson then resume the tour when your done. - Walk through the famous surfboard alley on the way to the beach for a great view of Diamond Head. The sand bar here is also a great spot for a dip. - Visit the Royal Hawaiian Center, where you can shop, eat, drink and explore on the way to the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. - Visit the world-famous Pink Palace and the courtyard outside the hotel where Kamehameha and his warriors camped during the Battle of Oahu.  - Guests have the option to have a meal or a cocktail at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel and Mai Tai Bar during the tour if they like. - Visit the statue of Bernice Pauahi Bishop in the courtyard at the Royal Hawaiian Center and learn more about her family and causes. - Take a moment to do some souvenir shopping, old Hawaii style. One of the last places to get nostalgia from Waikikiʻs earlier days and original International Marketplace. - Learn about where famous local singer Don Ho used to perform in Waikiki. One of his most famous songs is called Tiny Bubbles. - Visit the world-famous International Marketplace and learn more about its history. Guests can stop for some food, shopping, and restrooms, or just read the plaques, listen to the stories, and continue the tour. - Visit the Princess Kaiulani Statue and read the surfboard marker from the Waikiki Historic Trail. Last opportunity to shop for water, sunscreen, snacks, etc. before the end of the tour. - Walk along the Ala Wai Canal and hear stories about Chiefs, learn about the mountains, and enjoy the view. - Learn about the Ala Wai Municipal Golf Course, located directly across the canal from our route. - Learn about Queen Liliuokalani, the overthrow of the Hawaiian Kingdom, and read her surfboard marker from the Waikiki Historic Trail. - See the Honolulu Fire Department Station and get food recommendations for the area. - Learn about the Honolulu Zoo and maybe even see the giraffeʻs and zebraʻs while we walk along the outside of the fence. The tour ends close to the entrance so feel free to visit afterward.  - See the Queenʻs Hibiscus and Rose Gardens near the Honolulu Zoo and Waikiki Shell. While our tour passes by, guests are welcome to pause the audio, visit the gardens, and resume when ready. - Learn about the Royal Hawaiian Band and the Waikiki Shell Concert Venue, located at the base of the Diamond Head Crater. - The route ends in Kapiolani Park, between Waikiki and Diamond Head.
