Description
During this full day tour, visitors will have the opportunity to visit Scotland's historic and medieval capital. The tour will commence with numerous stops at all of the key landmarks of the Old Town, including Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, Grassmarket, St Giles Cathedral, Palace of Holyrood House, Arthur's Seat and Calton Hill as well as many other locations. We will then contrast this Old Town of Edinburgh with the splendor of 18th century New Town. After lunch, you will then be taken out into the Scottish countryside where you can spend the remainder of the afternoon visiting Rosslyn Chapel which was built in the 15th century and is said to have connections with the Freemasons but latterly has become more famous through the world-famous novel, the Da Vinci Codes.
