Lerwick is the main port of the Shetland Islands, located in the North Sea off the northeast coast of Scotland. The port is situated on the east side of the island of Mainland, the largest of the Shetland Islands. It is a natural deep-water harbour and is the most northerly port in the United Kingdom.
