Pricing
Virgin Voyages does not offer traditional drink packages. Instead, they provide a "Bar Tab" system, allowing guests to pre-purchase a set amount of credit for onboard beverages, often with bonus credits as an incentive. When purchasing a Tab, you'll receive extra credits. For example, a $200 tab gets you $225 and a $1,000 tab gets you $1,250 in credit.
Attire
The Dock House Bar has no strict dress code accrding to Virgin Voyages. Guests are encouraged to wear what makes them feel comfortable. However, it's advisable to wear more than just a bathing suit and to consider wearing shoes when dining.
How to reserve
To purchase a Bar Tab on a Virgin Voyages cruise ship, you can typically do so at the bar or through the Virgin Voyages app. You'll need to provide a credit card to set up the tab. Once activated, you can use your SeaPass card to charge drinks to the tab. At the end of the cruise, the total amount charged to the tab will be billed to your credit card.
Age restrictions
Princess Cruises has a clear age restriction policy for bars and nightclubs. Guests must be at least 18 years old to enter the nightclub and casino. For drinking, the legal age is 21 years old on cruises departing from North American ports. On cruises departing from international ports, such as those in Europe, Asia, South America, Australia, and New Zealand, the drinking age is lowered to 18 years old.
