Rijeka is situated on the coast of the Kvarner Bay. The fertile valleys of Naxos are well-known producers of white wine, citron, and citrus and are the site of a number of ancient and medieval capitals. Visit the famous gardens ("giardini") and walk between the walls of the ancient Greek city and the viewing the museum's terrecotta artwork. Often called the "Pearl of the Riviera," this charming hideaway on the Ligurian Sea is a favorite vacation spot of many wealthy Europeans. Once a quiet fishing village, Portofino is now best known for its chic boutiques, wonderful outdoor restaurants, and beachside cliffs that are speckled with pastel-colored villas. An optional day trip by boat lets you explore the picturesque coastline villages of Paraggi and Santa Margherita.

Packed with colorful fishing boats and yachts, the Vieux Port is the heart of Marseille.

Situated only fifteen km from the Spanish frontier and the Costa Brava, Port Vendres is in the Roussillon, one of France's most beautiful region along the Mediterranean coast. Port Vendres has always been a merchant port. In ancient times, Roman ships used to call here to shelter against bad weather.
