Rhapsody of the Seas is a Vision-class ship built in 1997, the #29 ship in the Royal Caribbean fleet by size, and a 2022 refurbishment refreshed its staterooms, dining venues and public spaces. Across 11 passenger decks, the evening heart sits at the aft end of deck 6: Chops Grille for hand-cut prime beef, Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen for rustic Italian classics, the nautical Schooner Bar and the Shall We Dance Lounge with its spacious dance floor. Izumi Hibachi & Sushi adds a hibachi show, and the Chef's Table pairs wines with a multi-course meal. Shows play at the Broadway Melodies Theater, the multi-level Viking Crown Lounge looks out over panoramic ocean views, and adults unwind in the Solarium. Climbers get the Rock Climbing Wall, kids have Adventure Ocean and teens slip into the Teen Center.
