Oasis of the Seas’ 2019 Royal Amplified refit (costing $165 million) was one of the most ambitious refurbishments in Royal Caribbean’s fleet, reimagining the ship through the addition of new neighborhoods and major guest experiences. Entire areas of the ship were redesigned, introducing new dining venues, entertainment spaces, and social hubs that transformed guest flow and onboard energy. Staterooms were refreshed with updated furnishings, improved lighting, and modernized finishes. Public spaces received extensive redesigns with new décor and enhanced functionality. The drydock also included large-scale technology upgrades, hotel-system enhancements, and mechanical work to support the ship’s complex operations and long-term service life.
