The Game Reserves
Bring your A-game to the high seas.
The Game Reserves is a specialized gaming lounge found on Royal Caribbean's Radiance-class ships. Located on Deck 6, this venue is best known for housing the ship's famous self-leveling pool tables, which use computer-controlled gyroscopes to remain perfectly flat even as the ship tilts or rolls with the ocean waves. Beyond billiards, the space serves as a multi-functional sports and gaming lounge, featuring large-screen televisions for broadcasting live sporting events and various tables for card games or board games. The atmosphere in The Game Reserves is typically masculine and club-like, often featuring dark wood paneling and comfortable seating that makes it a popular retreat for adults looking for a quieter competitive environment away from the high-energy pool decks. While the self-leveling pool tables are the main draw, the room is also a primary location for organized card tournaments and casual play throughout the cruise.
Pro Tip
Because there are usually only two self-leveling tables in the lounge, they are very popular. The best time to find an open table is during port days when most guests are off the ship or during late dining hours.
Yes
Free
The pool tables found in The Game Reserves are free to play.
While the lounge is generally open to all ages during the day, age restrictions often apply in the evening. Because the venue is located near bars (like the Schooner Bar) and is considered an adult-oriented space, guests under 18 usually need to be accompanied by an adult. Late at night, the area may become restricted to guests 18 and over.
The lounge follows the ship’s general Resort Casual dress code. The primary restrictions are: No bare feet: Shoes are required at all times. No wet swimwear: You must be dry and wearing a cover-up or standard casual attire to use the lounge.
