Freedom of the Seas is Royal Caribbean's Freedom-class ship from 2006, the #16 ship in the Royal Caribbean fleet by size, with 14 passenger decks and a full Royal Amplified refresh in early 2020. That makeover added The Perfect Storm, a trio of waterslides, plus Izumi Hibachi & Sushi and Playmakers Bar & Arcade. Deck 5 holds the Royal Promenade, an indoor street running the ship's length with the Bull And Bear Pub, Sorrento's Pizza and the round-the-clock Café Promenade. On deck 2, the Center Ice Rink sits beside Studio B, and the Royal Theater stages Broadway shows. Deck 13 has the Flowrider surf simulator, the Rock Climbing Wall and Freedom Dunes mini-golf. Kids have Splashaway Bay and Adventure Ocean, and dinner can be steak at Chops Grille or rustic Italian at Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen.
