Located high on the ship, the Suite Sun Deck features comfortable loungers, shaded seating, whirlpools on select ships, and attentive service that may include a dedicated bar or nearby suite lounge access. The atmosphere is calm and refined, with fewer crowds, better sightlines, and panoramic ocean views that make it ideal for sea days, sailaways, or simply unwinding with a drink and a book. Access is controlled by suite keycard, reinforcing the private, premium feel and making the Suite Sun Deck one of the most sought-after perks for Royal Caribbean suite guests.
Claim one of the complimentary cabanas early on sea days — they're first-come, first-served, and they offer padded seating with great shade and privacy while still enjoying epic forward views and overlooking the main pool deck/water slides below. The area stays much calmer and less crowded than the main pools (no chair-hogging drama), and you have your own dedicated bar right there for quick drinks without trekking down.

Attire
The Suite Sun Deck Bar follows Royal Caribbean's general pool deck guidelines, allowing swimwear, bathing suits, cover-ups, shorts, t-shirts, tank tops, and casual resort wear—making it a relaxed, vacation-style spot for lounging, sunbathing, and drinks with no strict enforcement beyond basic courtesy. Cover-ups are recommended (and often expected) when ordering at the bar or if you're wet/messy, footwear like flip-flops is fine (bare feet are usually acceptable outdoors), but swim attire is not permitted in the adjacent indoor Suite Lounge, which requests smart casual dress.
