Adventure of the Seas is a Voyager-class ship built in 2001, with 14 passenger decks, tied for #22 in the Royal Caribbean fleet by size. A refurbishment spread across dry docks in 2016 and 2018 brought in many of its current draws. At the top of the ship, the stern is given over to play: The Perfect Storm, a trio of waterslides, sits alongside the Flowrider surf simulator, the Rock Climbing Wall and the Adventure Dunes mini golf course. Indoors, Studio B hides an ice rink beneath a retractable floor, and the multi-level Viking Crown Lounge looks out over the ocean. For dinner there's Chops Grille for steak, Izumi Hibachi & Sushi and Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen, followed by Latin rhythms at Boleros. Kids head to Splashaway Bay and Adventure Ocean, while teens have Optix Teen Disco.
