Cabin B109 Reviews
Cabin A619 on the Sapphire Princess is a standard balcony cabin. It is situated on Deck 12, directly beneath the Horizon Court buffet area on Deck 14. Generally, the cabin maintains a relatively quiet environment. In the evenings, after 9 p.m., occasional cart movements can be heard from the deck above. This noise was not constant, occurring as brief, intermittent instances each night, and did not pose a significant disturbance. A notable consideration is the presence of food aromas within the cabin and the Deck 12 hallway, originating from the culinary operations above. While these scents were often strong, they were generally pleasant throughout the day. However, on days when Indian cuisine, such as curry, was prepared, the odors were personally bothersome. Individuals sensitive to or easily affected by strong odors may wish to consider alternative cabin locations on Deck 12. Regarding electrical outlets, Cabin A619 is equipped with standard U.S. two and three-prong receptacles. Two outlets are located at the desk, and an additional two are positioned above the corner shelf opposite the desk. These outlets are in close proximity, which may restrict the simultaneous use of wider plugs. A U.S. plug is also available in the bathroom. The nightstands do not offer easily accessible outlets. While the bedside lamps are powered, their connections are not readily reachable behind the bed. Each of these lamps, however, includes a USB charging port at its base. The air conditioning and heating system in Cabin A619 functioned effectively. The wall-mounted hairdryer, located by the desk, ceased operation on the third day of our extended back-to-back cruises. It was promptly replaced with a handheld model, which was stored in one of the desk drawers. This replacement required plugging into an available socket for each use and, while comparable in power to other standard models, was adequate for managing long, fine hair. The balcony is of standard dimensions, furnished with two chairs featuring footrests and a small square table. This covered balcony offered an unobstructed view.

Partially obstructed cabins on Princess ships with a ship beam obstruction have their view partially blocked by structural beams supporting the ship. These beams can limit the visibility through the balcony or window, depending on their size and placement. However, the obstruction is usually limited to one section of the view, allowing guests to still enjoy some ocean or port visibility. These cabins are often more affordable than fully unobstructed options.
