Cabin 8057 Reviews
I will start off by saying the aft balcony is beautiful and the views amazing. The rest of the cabin is smaller and older than other NCL ship cabins. The bathroom is old, counters and faucets scratched and somewhat rusted. The shower is very small (I’m 5’0” and 130 lbs and could barely turn around); no glass just shower curtain. Toilet flushes randomly throughout the day and night. The closet is good size but only 2 small drawers and one shelf for other items, so very limited storage. There is a small loveseat and small desk. Be aware the cabin is 2-3 floors above main theatre and from 5-10 pm, there are rehearsals and shows where the noise is so loud it makes it impossible to sleep or even relax. Items in our room vibrated from the noise. This is an aft balcony room with one of the suites next door, noise at this level should not be an issue in any cabin on the ship, but especially not for upgraded cabins. There is nothing to be done about the noise and NCL makes excuses for not warning people about the noise level stating these potential inconveniences are outlined in their contracts. They don’t care, NCL already has your money. We went into this knowing the Sky was an older ship and had small cabins. This cruise was for the British Isles itinerary, not the ship or cabin accommodations; however, after the noise issue and unprofessional on-board customer service, we will probably not go with NCL again.
