Norwegian Joy Cabin 15826

It's a bit small for 2 adults. Bed was comfortable and an the view is un-obstructed in all 3 directions. Balcony had two chairs and a small table with room to move about. Noise was not a problem. Bathroom is small, nice shower with a hand wand. Real estate was minimal to lay anything out to get ready. Take some time to learn the light switches, there isn't one in the bathroom so if anyone gets up in the night the light is turned on from outside the door and the entire cabin lights up! Closet is too close to the bed for easy access and luggage storage is under the bed. Couch is a nice addition.Service was good but NCL only cleans once daily, so towels from pool use or anything brought back like wrappings or trash in general that can't be stacked outside the door quickly adds up. Compared dollar for dollar, our room last fall on Princess was better in every catagory.

Even if it was not super spacious, the cabin was really nice with plenty space of storage. The bed was really confortable. Nice view from our balcony!! A bit noisy because it has a hallway just in front. It will had need a bit more space between the bed and the closet.

My husband and I commented it was nice and spacious! We think the bed was too big to be a queen size, we had lots of space and believe it was more like a king size, and very firm with 4 pillows and a duvet. The balcony has 2 chairs and a table, also spacious. The bed is next to the sliding glass door that goes out to the balcony. There's a vanity desk with mirror, 2 outlets that are 3-prong and 1 outlet that is European. The in-room coffee maker works on the European outlet. There is a narrow rolling night stand with 2 cubby holes on each side of the bed, reading lights, and 1 Type "A" USB port on each side too. The bathroom does not have any outlets, but it has a large mirror and 2 shelves above the countertop for storing personal items. 2 more shelves are under the countertop, and there is a storage cupboard under the bathroom sink. The water from the faucet tasted great, too. The shower is very comfortable, no tub. Shower gel, shampoo is provided in a pump dispenser. Liquid soap provided in a pump dispenser at the sink. Blow dryer is hard wired into the vanity desk, but there's a mirror and a rolling chair at the desk so it works. The temperature of the room was comfortable most of the time but works best when the sliding glass door to the balcony is in a locked position. The desk phone has a message button that lights up bright orange and doesn't go away until you hear the message, but it's broken so I reported it to housekeeping. There's a lot of storage in this room - closet and hangers for 14 outfits, 4 shelves, a safe, drawers underneath the sofa, and underbed space for luggage. This room is 100 steps from the elevator, which is filled with lots of people also wanting to take the elevator, so plan to use the stairs if you can't get an elevator. Our cabin steward was great, very friendly and helpful. Ice, coffee are available upon request.

Our cabin 9176 was well designed, the only modifications we would suggest are center the TV a little more towards the bed & modify or change the type of closet doors. Very annoying to take out hanging clothes. The cabin is well situated on the ship, we often took the stairs to get where we wanted to go. The cabin was not noisy. Since our cruise was to Alaska, we had brought additional magnet hooks to hang our jackets. I really would recommend to add a few more. We really enjoyed our stay.
