In early 2025, the Jewel underwent a cosmetic refresh that updated the upholstery in the Main Dining Rooms and the Garden Café. The ship’s outdoor decks were also treated to new teak-style flooring, and the Haven Courtyard was refreshed with new luxury loungers and updated landscaping. Norwegian Jewel’s 2022 major drydock refurbishment delivered a comprehensive update focused on guest comfort, dining quality, and technical reliability. Cabins were refreshed with new soft goods, updated furnishings, improved lighting, and enhanced comfort features. Dining venues received significant enhancements, including refreshed décor, improved seating layouts, and updated finishes that elevated the overall culinary experience. Public areas were subtly refreshed to maintain a cohesive onboard aesthetic. In addition to visible upgrades, the refurbishment included extensive system upgrades, addressing hotel systems, mechanical components, navigation equipment, and onboard infrastructure to ensure improved efficiency, safety, and operational longevity.
