The 2022 comprehensive refit of Norwegian Jade was a substantial modernization project addressing both guest-facing spaces and technical systems. Staterooms were upgraded with refreshed furnishings, updated soft goods, improved lighting, and enhanced comfort features. Dining venues were refreshed with updated décor, improved seating arrangements, and layout refinements that enhanced the dining experience. Public spaces throughout the ship received refreshed finishes and furnishings to create a more contemporary look. Extensive technical maintenance was completed during drydock, including upgrades to hotel systems, navigation equipment, mechanical components, and IT infrastructure, improving efficiency, reliability, and long-term operational performance. The next scheduled ship refurbishment will occur in May 2026. Scheduled for a major revitalization from April 19 to May 4, 2026, the Norwegian Jade will undergo a transformation aimed at aligning its amenities with the newer Prima-class ships. The most significant addition will be the adults-only Vibe Beach Club on Deck 14, replacing the former secondary sundeck with a high-end retreat featuring a private bar, luxury loungers, and dedicated hot tubs. Additionally, NCL is partnering with Studio DADO to install a brand-new, full-service Starbucks on Deck 7, while the ship’s specialty dining venues like Cagney’s and Le Bistro will receive aesthetic refreshes and furniture updates to modernize the 2006-built vessel before it begins its Alaska season.
