Norwegian Getaway is a Breakaway-class ship built in 2014, tied for #9 in the Norwegian fleet by size, with 14 passenger decks, 21 dining venues and 17 bars. A 2024 refresh of its public areas included updates to Syd Norman's Pour House, a rock 'n' roll bar with live music. It sits midship on deck 8 alongside the Sugarcane Mojito Bar, the frozen Skyy Vodka Ice Bar, Ocean Blue for seafood and Wasabi for sushi. Dinner comes with magic at the Illusionarium, with tableside hibachi at Teppanyaki or with endless skewers at Moderno Churrascaria. At the stern on deck 17, the Aqua Park, Ropes Course and Sports Complex keep active travelers busy, while kids have Splash Academy and teens the Entourage Teen Club. Adults can slip off to Spice H2O, an Ibiza-inspired beach club.
