In October 2023, the MSC Fantasia underwent a significant dry dock in Malta. Beyond general hotel maintenance, the primary update was the installation of shore power technology, allowing the ship to turn off its engines in port. The MSC Yacht Club area also received an aesthetic refresh with new furniture and updated decor.
