This cabin was supposed to be a handicap accessible cabin. The only true handicap feature was the shower and the bathroom, which was all level and we could easily shower in there. The room was very small with a little wedge in the corner. I guess that was supposed to be making it larger. We did not have drawers. The closet for two people were 20 inches wide and no longer than 40 feet long and the lifejackets took up the bottom part so there’s nowhere to put your shoes so we had to use the top the very top for our shoes and we were basically living out of our luggage there Were three drawers all about 12 inches wide in the room and we had to move the scooter that my cousin rented to the opening of the veranda. Innocence, we had nowhere to live, but outside of our suitcases after the first six hours, there was a smell of feces coming out of the bathroom we like customer service know about it we kept calling and calling finally we went up. Talk to one of the managers in Customer Care who guide us change of room because the smell could not be taken away. This was after days of cleaning and spraying the bathroom once we moved. Everything was perfect. The room was bigger. There were enough outlets. Oh, I forgot to mention there was only one outlet that would accommodate the scooter and that’s why it was on the other side of the room near the door to the veranda aside from that we had a great trip for the last five days aside from the fact that there was no step up on the bus to go from the terminal to the ship and we got no wheelchair service as requested. Which led me to fall off the ship and fall on top of a man with a walker I got home Saturday. I’m on my way to the doctors by 2 o’clock this afternoon, bruises and pain down my leg up until this point I could not say enough about Holland America.
