Fun for Kids at Club Hal!
Club HAL is a vibrant and fun-filled youth program offered on your ship. With a focus on providing age-appropriate activities and entertainment, Club HAL is divided into different groups for children aged 3-6, 7-12, and 13-17. The Kids group can enjoy arts and crafts, storytime, games, and themed parties while the Tweens group can participate in scavenger hunts, sports challenges, video game competitions, and craft projects. Teenagers aged 13-17 have their own dedicated space where they can socialize and participate in events like karaoke, dance parties, movie nights, and sports tournaments. All of the activities in Club HAL are supervised by trained staff to ensure the safety of all children onboard. This program is a fantastic option for families, as parents can relax and enjoy other areas of the ship knowing that their children are having a blast in a safe and supervised environment.
Make sure to check the daily schedule for special themed activities or events at Club Hal, such as pirate night or arts and crafts workshops, to fully maximize your child's experience.

At the Club HAL venue on Holland America Line's cruise ships, there are specific age requirements for participation in the youth programs. Children must be at least 3 years old to join, and they must be completely potty-trained, as staff cannot assist with restroom needs. The program is designed for various age groups: children aged 3 to 6 participate in activities tailored for younger kids, while those aged 7 to 12 engage in activities suited for tweens. For teenagers, the program accommodates ages 13 to 17, offering a dedicated space called "The Loft" where they can enjoy age-appropriate activities without adult supervision. Parents or guardians are required to sign children in and out of the program for those aged 3 to 12, while teens can come and go freely.
