MS Westerdam is a member of Holland America's Vista Class, built in 2004 with 11 passenger decks, and tied for the #7 ship in the Holland America fleet by size. A February 2023 modernization overhauled its galleys and refreshed Billboard Onboard, a piano venue built for sing-alongs. Music carries the evenings: the Rolling Stone Lounge has a live rock band, and the World Stage wraps performances in immersive LED screens. Among 5 dining venues, Pinnacle Grill serves USDA Prime steaks and Canaletto offers Italian dishes made for sharing. Up on deck 11, Tamarind serves Pan-Asian plates beside Nami Sushi and the Tamarind Bar with its sake flights. Adults can slip away to The Retreat and its private cabanas, or soak in the warm mineral waters of the Hydro Pool.
