MS Volendam is a Rotterdam Class-class ship built in 1999, the #11 ship in the Holland America fleet by size, with 9 passenger decks and a refurbishment completed in October 2024. Dinner can be steaks and seafood at Pinnacle Grill or shared Italian plates at Canaletto, with afternoon tea and dance classes in the Queens Room. Evenings center on the World Stage, a theater wrapped in LED screens, and the Crows Nest, where panoramic ocean views give way to live music after dark. The Lido Pool sits beneath a Sliding Dome Cover that shifts it between indoors and out, while adults can slip off to the Sea View Bar. Families have Club Hal, The Loft for teens and the Sports Courts with mini-golf, all at the aft end of deck 9.
Between port calls, there's time for Sliding Dome Cover, Lido Pool and Wajang Theater.
