MS Nieuw Amsterdam is a Signature Class ship built in 2010, the #4 ship in the Holland America fleet by size, with 11 passenger decks and a refurbishment in late 2023 and early 2024 that brought accessibility upgrades. Music sets the tone: Lincoln Center Stage hosts classical and chamber performances, Billboard Onboard runs piano sing-alongs, and the World Stage wraps its shows in LED screens. Dinner can be steaks and seafood at Pinnacle Grill, shared Italian plates at Canaletto, or sushi at Nami Sushi, with sake flights at Tamarind Bar. The Lido Pool sits beneath a Sliding Dome Cover that shifts it between indoors and outdoors. Adults can slip away to The Retreat and the Sea View Pool, while children and teens have Club Hal.
With three sea days on this sailing, there's time for Sea View Pool, Art Gallery and Club Hal.
