Here's some helpful pricing info for French Quarter Lounge: A 21-ounce, refillable beer mug is available for $15.25 and you can refill for the price of a 16-ounce beer. Save on wine by ordering from the "sommelier bin." For $10 per glass, the bartender will select from already-opened bottles available. Save on cocktails by orderng the "Drink of the Day." At $6.50, this is a decent savings. It usually includes a fruity cocktail like the Bahama Breeze or Rum Runner. Water and sodas are available for purchase ($3 - $5), but are free at drink stations. Guests are allowed to birng two (2) 750ml bottles onboard, or six, 12-ounce beers. Look for happy hour events for 50% select drinks!
Attire
French Quarter Lounge recommended attire, according to Disney, is "cruise casual" - including collared shirts, slacks, or jeans (no rips) for men, and blouses, sundresses, or pants for women, with no swimwear, tank tops, or flip-flops.
How to reserve
French Quarter Lounge does not require reservations. The venue is first-come, first-served. Visit during off-peak hours or during port stops to avoid heavy crowds.
How to purchase
To purchase drink packages available to use at French Quarter Lounge, visit the Disney Cruise Line website (disneycruise.disney.go.com) and navigate to the “Onboard Gifts” section under “My Cruise Activities” after booking your cruise. Log in with your reservation details to view available packages for your specific itinerary and departure port. Packages can also be purchased onboard, but pre-purchasing ensures availability and allows you to budget in advance. Disney does not offer pre-purchasable packages for cocktails, mocktails, or specialty coffee, but these can be bought individually onboard.
Age restrictions
French Quarter Lounge is open to all ages during the day (with supervision for under 13s) but restricted to 21 and older after 6:00–7:00 p.m. for alcohol service and evening events, with a Disney curfew requiring under 18s to be accompanied after 1:00 a.m. The drinking age is 21, enforced by keycard/ID checks.
