Our cabin was amazing! There was plenty of space for the two of us, there was lots of storage areas. We were far enough away from stairs and elevators and areas of high activity in the ship that we didn’t hear any extra noise, the only time we would hear noise is when people were talking loudly as they walked past our door, but because of where our room was located, that didnt happen very often. Our hallway was extra wide, and that’s where Hendra our room steward would leave his cart as he was cleaning rooms, and because of that we probably got to interact with him a lot more than other passengers. Speaking of Hendra, he was so incredibly kind and did such an amazing job keeping our room, spotless, and the towel animals he left for us every night were amazing. We had brought night lights, thinking an inside cabin would be pitch dark, but there is a nightlight in the bathroom that gives you plenty of light. We didn’t need the nightlight at all. I would highly recommend cabin 8033 to anyone.
Since this was our 1st cruise I can't compare to any other ship. This is an inside room. For the 2 of us adults it was great, plenty of room, under bed storage and plenty of room to hang up our clothes in the closet. There was a fold down bed that would probably sleep two more. If the bed was down, it would make the walkway a little tight, but I think it would work. After all you don't spend a lot of time in your cabin, there are too many other thing to be doing. Plenty of counter space with a nice mirror with lights for my wife to put on her makeup. There was even a night light in the bathroom for night hours that could be turned on. The lighting was really good, and the pictures were wonderful. We also brought two small magnetic motion lights that we put on the walls by the bottom of the beds that worked out great. The room has magnetic walls so you can bring clips, hooks ect. Yes, the room was great.
