The Millennium Class is a series of four cruise ships operated by Celebrity Cruises, constructed between 1999 and 2002 at the Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France. Included in the Millennium class are the Millennium (2000), Infinity (2001), Summit (2001), and Constellation (2002). Each measures approximately 294 meters in length and has a gross tonnage around 91,000 GT. Notably, this class was among the first cruise ships to utilize a turbo-electric COGAS (Combined Gas and Steam) power plant, enhancing energy efficiency by reclaiming otherwise lost energy. Also of note, the class features a distinctive angular stern. Passenger capacity on these ships range from 1,950 to 2,460 across 11 passenger decks.

The 2024 refurbishment of Celebrity Constellation was a comprehensive, full-ship drydock designed to extend the vessel’s operational life while aligning it more closely with Celebrity Cruises’ modern brand standards. All staterooms received new soft goods, including updated carpeting, bedding, drapery, upholstery, and lighting, creating a brighter and more contemporary feel. Public spaces such as lounges, dining venues, and corridors were refreshed with new finishes, furnishings, and improved layouts. The project also included major upgrades to AV and IT infrastructure, enhancing onboard connectivity, digital services, and entertainment systems. Behind the scenes, hotel systems, propulsion components, and mechanical systems underwent extensive maintenance and upgrades to improve reliability, efficiency, and long-term performance.
