Carnival Venezia, originally Costa Venezia, was last renovated in April 2023 before joining Carnival from Costa Cruises. This dry dock in Cadiz, Spain, rebranded the ship with a red, white, and blue hull and introduced “Fun Italian Style” with Venetian-inspired décor, a gondola-themed lounge, and dining options like Tomodoro. Carnival staples like Guy’s Burger Joint were added. Carrying 4,072 passengers, it transitioned seamlessly into Carnival’s fleet without further updates by 2025. In late 2024, it received minor updates to the Teatro Rosso and the La Strada Grill. It remains one of the most uniquely decorated ships in the fleet, retaining much of its original Italian grandeur.
