Carnival Venezia is a Vista-class ship built in 2019 as Costa Venezia, then rebranded in an April 2023 dry dock in Cadiz when it joined Carnival from Costa Cruises. It is the #7 ship in the Carnival fleet by size, with 14 passenger decks and a strong Italian flavor throughout. The social heart is Plaza San Marco, an Italian-inspired hub with live music, and Teatro Rosso is a grand Italian-themed theater. Deck 5 is lined with specialty dining: Il Vaggio for regional Italian, Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse, Bonsai Teppanyaki and Bonsai Sushi, with Amari Bar and Piano Bar 88 nearby. Up top, WaterWorks has the Twister Waterslide and SkyCourse is a high ropes course. Kids head to Camp Ocean and Dr. Seuss Bookville, while poolside Tomodoro blends Italian and Mexican flavors.
