The Carnival Mardi Gras completed its first-ever dry dock in October 2025 in France. The focus was on "perfecting the flagship," which included a full hull repainting with the new livery, deep cleaning of the Ultimate Playground, and technical inspections of its LNG propulsion system. Minor interior updates were made to the Fortune Teller bar.
