Carnival Luminosa is a Spirit-class ship built in 2009, the #25 ship in the Carnival fleet by size, with 12 passenger decks. She began life as Costa Luminosa, and a September 2022 dry dock in Palermo gave her a red, white and blue hull, Carnival décor, the RedFrog Rum Bar and Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse. The rum bar sits by the Lido Pool under the retractable Sliding Sky Dome, with Pizzeria del Capitano and Ol Fashioned BBQ nearby. Adults can retreat aft to the Serenity Pool and Serenity Bar. Evenings bring shows in the grand Luminosa Theater, cocktails at the Alchemy Bar and singalongs at Piano Bar 88. Kids have Camp Ocean, teens get Circle C and Club O2, and Sports Square adds a ropes course.
With nine sea days on this sailing, there's time for Luminosa Theater, Alchemy Bar and Sliding Sky Dome.
