Carnival Freedom is a Conquest-class ship from 2007, tied for #15 in the Carnival fleet by size, with 13 passenger decks. A 2024 dry dock gave it a new "whale tail" funnel, refreshed its public spaces and added the Heroes Tribute Bar & Lounge, a patriotic bar honoring service members and their families. Deck 5 Aft is the evening stretch, home to Alchemy Bar, Scott's Piano Bar, Swingtime Bar and the retro, disco-flavored 70s Night Club. Midship on deck 9, Guy's Burger Joint, Blue Iguana Cantina and RedFrog Rum Bar share the deck with the Timeless Pool. Families head for WaterWorks and its spiraling Twister Waterslide, plus Dr. Seuss Bookville, while the aft Endless Pool has a retractable roof. Sun King Steakhouse serves premium beef and seafood, and the Carnival Seaside Theater screens films outdoors.
