Carnival Dream, the lead Dream-class ship, was built in 2009 and refreshed with new carpeting and furniture in 2021. It is tied for the #11 ship in the Carnival fleet by size, spread over 13 passenger decks. Around the glass-roofed Waves Pool sit Guy's Burger Joint, Blue Iguana Cantina and the RedFrog Rum Bar, all poolside spots for burgers, tacos and rum cocktails. For dinner there's smoky Southern barbecue at Guy's Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que, sushi at Bonsai Sushi and a polished night out at The Chefs Art Steakhouse. Evenings bring nightly shows in the Encore Main Lounge, custom cocktails at the vintage-themed Alchemy Bar and outdoor movies at Carnival Seaside Theater. On the top deck, WaterWorks has the spiraling Twister Waterslide. Kids and teens have Camp Ocean, Circle C and Club O2, while adults can slip away to Serenity Adult Only Retreat.
With four sea days on this sailing, there's time for Cloud 9 Spa: Hydrotherapy Pool, Waves Pool and Mini Golf.
