Description

nothing can quite capture the magic of Venice like experiencing it aboard a ship - after all, it was built to be a city on water.  Leave behind the frenzy of the streethawkers and tourists for the tranquility of the hidden canals and waterways on our tour. We will lead you to explore the authentic side of Venice - the one full of winding canals that you’ve always wanted to see. The program begins on the famous, and breathtakingly picturesque, Canal Grande, where you will see historic palazzos, markets, and the bustle of everyday life floating by. We will then stop at a squero (boatyard) where you will be able to learn how gondolas are still made today. The tour will also stop by the Arsenale, where the biggest and most decorated ships were once built. Next, we will take you beyond the limits of the island of Venice to explore the nearby island of San Giorgio. You will be able to climb the bell tower - from which you will have a stunning 360 degree view of the entire lagoon.
