The morning walking tour of the medina will also include a visit to the fortified Kasbah, one of the city’s main attractions. The Kasbah is built on the highest point of the city and has excellent views out over the Straits of Gibraltar and neighbouring Spain. Within its gates lies a large marble courtyard that leads to the Dar el-Makhzen, a former Sultan’s palace built in the 17th century, which today houses the Museum of Moroccan Art (The Museum Close on Tuesday). -  At the end of our walking tour we’ll stop for lunch at a typical Moroccan restaurant or in local house with Moroccan family if it possible, after lunch we will continue our Morocco adventure, we will explore the surrounding countryside and stop to visit  Cap Spartel at the extreme North-West of Africa. Known as the Cape of Vines in ancient times, a lighthouse today stands guard over Cap Spartel. Next stop is the Caves of Hercules on the Atlantic cost , associated with the Greek hero Hercules. This striking cave resembles the map of Africa. According to Geek legend, Hercules rested here after digging the Strait of Gibraltar. This vantage point offers an exceptional view of the Strait of Gibraltar and the Atlantic Ocean. We will have time for a camel ride before hidden back to the city. - We will also visit the hills of Tangier where the architecture serves as a reminder of the colonial days when the city was ruled by the English, American, French and Spanish.
