Description

Knossos is the heart of the Minoan civilization, the first civilization in Europe dating from 3000BC. I will transfer you from Chania to Knossos at Heraklio with 1-2 stops for 2.5 hours, visit Knossos for more than an hour, then drive to the archaeological museum and spend another hour inside. Then we will walk at Heraklio pedestrianized center for an hour and visit a few landmarks. We will have lunch for an hour and then drive back to Chania for around 2,5 hours. I am not licensed to guide inside Knossos or the archaeological museum so these locations you will visit by yourselves. I will provide the driving, talk to you about Greek and Cretan history, culture, traditions and life. I could try optionally to book a guide for Knossos, but due to their limited numbers and number of requests it is very difficult to find one. Please message me for such request.
