Sitka Marine Adventure Your boat for this amazing tour is a safe, Coast Guard inspected 26-foot twin-engine vessel. This beach marine catamaran was constructed specifically for a smooth ride in most seas getting you to the action fast! She has a warm, comfortable cabin with large windows to maximize wildlife viewing from indoors, as well as a spacious deck for the open-air experience. The captain of this vessel is a USCG licensed captain with many years of experience studying the habits of the amazing animals in our area, giving each guest a once in a lifetime marine adventure. He also has an underwater hydrophone on board so you can hear the whales sing! This two-hour tour will take a maximum of six guests at a time to some of the most breathtaking scenery and animal habitat in the world. Weather and sea conditions that day will determine the itinerary for that day. Certainly, the main focus will be on whales, but the captain will also try to tweak the tour based on your personal preferences and what you want to see most. Whether it is whales feasting on herring, otters lounging in the kelp, barking sea lions, or possibly even a bear on the beach, this is the tour for you! This tour is likely to sell out, so book early to avoid disappointment. Please Note: This tour only accommodates six guests at a time.
