Taking its name from its elevated position, this settlement is blessed with truly breathtaking views of the island. This location is also home to the Blue Domed Church, a prominent icon of the island of Santorini. -  The authentic old settlement of Megalochori, the ‘big village’, awaits visitors with its warm and inviting atmosphere. Dating back to the 17th century, it is one of the most picturesque villages of the island featuring historical mansions with inner courtyards, traditional architecture and pirate hideaways.  -  And how can someone not visit Emporio. Once the center of commercial activity, it is the largest settlement of Santorini with a definite medieval flavor and well-preserved traditional houses. The heart of the village boasts Emporio Kastelli, the best-preserved castle on the island. Enjoy a walk through the charming narrow streets and don’t forget to visit the churches. -  Black Beach, or Perissa, is actually the end of the long black sand beach of Perivolos and, it is the busiest and most famous beach in Santorini. After enjoying the clear waters and impressive black sand, we shall try the local specialties available at the many seaside restaurants. -  Standing true to its name, the distinctive Red Beach features a remarkably imposing odd formation of red volcanic rock dramatically contrasting the magnificent blue of the sea – a truly unique sight to behold.  -  Here is one of the most significant prehistoric settlements of the Aegean. Akrotiri had developed into a major city before it was covered in ash by volcanic eruptions. However, the ash has preserved structures and their contents allowing the visitor to marvel at this wonder of antiquity.  -  The island is also famous for its wine-making tradition. This private tour makes a stop at Venetsanos Wineryand allows the visitor to seize the opportunity to try the splendid local varieties Santorini is famous for. -  The museum is truly one of a kind: a 300-meter labyrinth shaped cave, 8 meters under the ground, it is an exhibition of the history of local wine and the life of vine-growers since 1660!
