Description

Our guide and driver will pick you up to your hotel in Puerto Madryn in the morning. We depart from the City of Puerto Madryn to Punta Tombo. Once in Punta Tombo you will met the largest Magellanic penguin reserve in South America. You will visit the interpretation center where we can observe all the fauna of the place and get all the necessary information to be ready for your experience into the reserve, before meeting the wonderful Magellanic penguins. A minibus will take us to the beginning of the trails where our walk of about 2 km will begin. Walking the perfectly laid out trails, we can observe the activity that dominates the colony. Some penguins can be seen digging their caves, fighting for territory, moving in search of their nests, mating or feeding their chicks. At the end of the tour we can have lunch in the cafeteria of the reserve and then we will visit the old Welsh colony, we can enjoy a delicious Welsh tea, prepared according to ancient customs, tasting all kinds of homemade regional cakes
