Description
Aysen's Lakes and Lagoons This tour goes along the Pacific Ocean to one of the most beautiful lagoons named "Los Coipos", where you have a fantastic view of the Andes and the birds greet you with their song. From there, we will go to the bay of Acantilada to view the Condor glaciers. A perfect viewing platform offers a wonderful view of the Andes for taking wonderful photos. Then, we continue to the former capital, Puerto Aysen, to admire the longest suspension bridge in Chile, designed by Gustav Eiffel. From there, we will hop in a vehicle to take a 10 km off-road trail to a 40-meter-high waterfall called "Cascada del Leon", located in the middle of the cold rainforest. From here, you will be taken to "Puerto Aysen," where you will visit the "Plaza de Armas," for a quick restroom break and a chance for you to take some pictures of the local scenery, including the "golden gate" of Aysen. Continuing to the next lagoon and crossing the former using the last century existing connection road, the old route from Puerto Aysen to Coyhaique, you will have a unique experience eating from the Chilean Cowboy BBQ. Everything that will be served here is organic. Here, you get a warm welcome and deep insight into the people's way of life in this part of the world. Afterward, you will go back to Puerto Chacabuco, where your ship is waiting for you.
