Description

Meet your local, professional tour guide at the shuttle terminal after a free shuttle ride to the edge of town. Then, drive along a scenic route to the Ria Progreso, the river on which you'll begin your kayaking adventure. After receiving a safety briefing and your kayaking instructions, you'll get into your kayaks and enjoy the ride. You can elect to ride solo, or in a tandem kayak with one other friend, family member, or guest. The estuary is very tranquil, which makes the kayaking easy for all levels of kayaker. Once you're prepared, you'll start to paddle through the mangrove-lined estuary at a relaxing pace. This region of the Mexican wild is teeming with wildlife, so look down to see schools of colored fish, look up to spot soaring birds, and look around to marvel at the lush foliage of the region. Following around one and a half hours on the water, you'll be transported to the nearby, semi-private Silcer Beach Club. At the beach, you'll enjoy all of the standard amenities, including beach chairs, umbrellas, adult and kiddie pools, and more. The beach also features an extensive menu of authentic Mexican food and drinks, including chicken and beef fajitas, guacamole, a wide array of local adult beverages, and more. After concluding your tour on the beach, you'll return to the cruise ship pier and reflect on a remarkable Mexican adventure.
