Island Tour by E-Bike Your scenic and active experience starts in Philipsburg where you will meet up with your small group and your guide, who will give you a brief introduction to cycling in St. Maarten and instruct you on how to use your Trek Hardtrail Electric-Assist Bike. This handy bike will give you a little power boost when and where you need it, so you can enjoy this beautiful 30km/18 miles journey without stress. You and your group will ride along the rugged coastline with a short climb, followed by a descent into Oyster Pond Bay, a charming lagoon town shared by both the French and Dutch sides of the island. From there you will cross from the Dutch side into the French St. Martin where you will enjoy magnificent views of the coast and neighboring island of St. Barth's. Continue to Le Galion Beach, also known as The Pearl of the Caribbean; this is the most famous beach on the island, and you will understand why as you soak in beautiful views of Orient Bay. From there you will pedal to Orient Beach where you can enjoy a cold drink and a refreshing dip in the ocean. Make your way back to Philipsburg by crossing the center of the island, passing through the multicultural French Quarter.
