Description

Immerge yoursfel in "The Godfather" atmosphere! The tour begins with pick up at the hotel and a transfer to Savoca. As arrived in Savoca, awarded as one of the most beautiful village of Italy, its tiny redroof houses and the narrow streets made of cobblestones will make you feel like you have just been throwback to the past. This is the place where Francis Ford Coppola and Al Pacino gave birth to some of the most important scenes of the movie “The Godfather”. We will visit the “Bar Vitelli”, the cafè where Micheal ask for Apollonia’s hand to her father. The cafè is preserved as it was and collects some mementos of the Corleone Family and pictures of the movie scenes. Right after the visit of the village and the church of Santa Lucia, where Micheal and Apollonia got married, we will move over Forza d’Agrò, a little medieval village with a nice view on the coast, where other scenes were filmed. The last stop would be Castelmola, a little village not far from the famous Taormina.
