Summer Evening Jazz CruiseSee Oslo and its surrounding countryside the same way locals have for thousands of years: by water.Discover the scenery on a traditional wooden boat, fully restored to its former glory. You'll sail past numerous islands, including Hovedoya and the Dyna Lighthouse, through narrow inlets and into sheltered bays so that you can capture the capital on camera from different angles. The boat passes close to the Bygdoy peninsula, home to many interesting museums and beaches, such as Huk Bay. See the Maritime Museum with its veteran sailing ships moored outside, and the impressive Fram Museum, housing the polar ship of the same name.During your cruise, while musicians play live jazz, a local Norwegian snack of shrimp will be offered, and a wide range of both hot and cold drinks are available for purchase at the bar.See Oslo the way it was meant to be seen, all while enjoying live jazz music and traditional food.
Norway's political and cultural capital, Oslo was recently selected as the city with the highest quality of life in Europe. It's not surprising, considering the city's treasures: beautiful Frogner Park filled with modern sculpture, the emotional power of the Munch Museum, the Viking Ship Museum, forested mountains and secluded coves, all within the city limits.
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and sensible walking shoes. Some guests may appreciate a scarf or light jacket while on the water.
