Learn to Scuba Dive Half Day Shore Trip Scuba diving is fun and easy! This Introduction to Scuba Diving lesson is designed for people who want to try scuba diving for the first time. In just three hours on this Nassau excursion, your professional instructor will have you diving with them on a beautiful tropical reef. After being picked up on the pier, you will transfer to the dive shop approximately 45 minutes away. Upon arrival, you will fill out the required paperwork and then meet your dive master. Your program begins with a short presentation that teaches you about the basics of diving, followed by practicing scuba diving skills in a pool or shallow beach area. Then it's onto a boat for your first dive on a shallow reef. During this dive your instructor will guide you on your first introduction to the Bahamas' magnificent underwater world. Please Note: You must know how to swim and feel comfortable while swimming in order to take this tour. Tanks and weights are included in the price. Any additional equipment is not included but is available to rent at the dive shop. Please be advised that this tour location is cashless and only accepts credit card, check, or digital payments. Equipment Rental Rates: Regulator - $10 US; BC - $10 US; Mask, Fins, Snorkel - $10 US; Dive Computer $15 US; Wet Suit - $10 US.

Additional details
We recommend wearing your bathing suit under comfortable clothing that may get splashed. Sensible, rubber-soled shoes are recommended. A towel, sunglasses, and sunscreen (biodegradable preferred) are also suggested. Each participant is required to wear a full wetsuit with long sleeves and legs. Wetsuits can be rented at the dive shop.
