Description

Starting at 8 o’clock, the guide will pick you up from the residence and take you to Wadi Al Abyadh. The guide will show you the Moho line that’s separates between dunite rocks alternative with the harzburgite. Those rocks are part from the mantle sequence of Samail Ophiolite and the crust rock. After that, you will move to Hot Spring and you will enjoy passing near the farms. Then, the guide will take you to Nakhal Fort for Photo Stop. The last stop will be in Wakan village to see a beautiful village that was built at the foot of the Hajar Mountains. The guide will talk about the theory of “Snow Bowl” and the formation of Diamictite and the drop stones. Regardless of the spectacular geology, the village is also something to remember. You can walk through the stairs to reach the peak to enjoy the cool weather and see the farms along the way. At the end, there is a nice restaurant, that you can go to, with a breathtaking view. Don’t forget to take photos and enjoy the view there.
