Description

The guide will pick you up from the residence heeding to Albatinah Provence. Wadi Bni Auf is the starting point of the off-road experience. However, after driving in an unpaved road, the guide will stop and show you the entrance of the snake canyon and the rocks that smell like a rotten egg. He will also explain to you the interesting facts about petroleum and its relationship with that smell. After that, the journey will keep moving for almost another hour in the mountain road passing by isolated villages, farms and Falaj until you reach the balcony in Hatt Mountain to enjoy the view of the road from 2000m above sea level. After this great adventure, our guide will take you to Alhoota cave to examine the cave from inside and visit the geology museum. After that, the guide will take you to Misfat Al Abriyeen to take a walk in between the old houses and farms and have a good meal in the village. In that place, the journey will end, and the guide will drive you back to Muscat.
