Description
White Water River TubingAs if heart-pounding, white-water tubing wasn't enough for one Montego Bay day, it's only the beginning! After meeting your driver and small group, you will set out from Montego Bay for the Rio Bueno, approximately 40 minutes away along the scenic coast.Upon arrival you will walk along the jungle trail, leading you to the launching point of your tubing adventure. After receiving some final instructions from your guides, it's time to jump in your tube and begin your exciting river adventure.A mix of currents carries you downstream as you sit back and admire the natural surroundings of the river valley before feeling the rush of the splashing rapids. The course takes you over a variety of class 2 river rapids, each followed by a calm section to chill out and lounge in your tube. There is a stop along the way for a chance to swim in the water and try out the Tarzan rope swing, a popular activity for everyone to enjoy. As the river begins to slow down, you enter the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea. From there you are pulled by boat (weather permitting) until landing ashore on a beautiful private beach, where you can purchase a refreshing drink, take a dip in the sea, and view some of the amazing photographs taken by our professional photographer. The float usually takes between 45 and 55 minutes, depending on the current and how much time is taken at the midway stop. Your driver will safeguard your belongings during the trip and will meet you at the end of the riverReturning to the Montego Bay area, you will make a stop for approximately 40 minutes at the Shoppes at Rose Hall, where you can shop or relax with a cup of Blue Mountain coffee. You will then have a driving orientation along the "hip strip" of Montego Bay, the most popular area with visitors.
