See leather belts and leather sandals being made by hand, small coconuts being carved into purses and a variety of other souvenirs all made while you watch. You can also see wooden horse saddles being carved by hand and a local-artists working with clay making pottery.Not far from this village is La Vinata where you will drive through a scenic plantation where acres upon acres of the blue agave are being grown. Arrive at the tequila distillery where you will be briefed on the ancient and current process of producing tequila. Witness the equipment that was used in the 1800s to produce tequila and observe the newer equipment currently being used all while learning of the local activities in the village. Now it's time to sample the quality tequila being produced here.
