Description

Another magical place, full of mystery and stories that will captive your attention, also very important to us due to its history and archeology, is Cerro Jaboncillo, where they have found pieces that are from 1800 years AC thousand that belonged to the first tribe (Valdivia) who were the first community who worked with clay in South America . These settlements are still being excavated, so we will be able to witness real fossils and artifact of some the tribes that lived on the coast, built their communities and raised their families. The settlement has a museum, with many archeological pieces from the Pache Culture, Valdivia, and Chorrera. We will also visit the fish market to see how the fishermen bring in the fish to the shore, the boatyard to look how they build our wooden fishing boats, then we will visit one of the hats factories to see how these master pieces are made. Highly recommended
